In this Privacy Policy, we explain how we collect and process personal data. This privacy statement is designed to meet the requirements of the revised Swiss Data Protection Act ("revDSG") and the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

What data is collected

Personal data is collected by OETIKER+PARTNER AG exclusively in connection with business relationships with customers and suppliers. This contact data is used for communication with our business partners. In addition to contact data such as address, telephone and e-mail, we also store additional information that our business partners provide us with, such as special instructions for contacting them or how we should address individual persons. We do not correlate this data with information we receive from third parties, nor do we share it.

Data Retention

Because most of our business partners have been in contact with us for a long time, this data is not automatically deleted. Our person responsible for data protection is available at any time for requests regarding data deletion and information.

Cookies

A cookie is used on our website to count how many hits we have on the website. However, no personal data is processed in the process.

hCaptcha

The contact form on our website is protected against misuse by means of hCaptcha. It is technically unavoidable that information is transmitted to hCaptcha in the process. hCaptcha is committed to ensuring adequate data protection.

Data storage location

Our data is stored exclusively in Switzerland, at our company location in Olten and in the data center of one of our suppliers (DALCO), on our own servers operated by us.

Third Party Applications

OETIKER+PARTNER AG operates software applications on behalf of customers. This software is partly used by customers to collect and store personal data.

We are not directly involved in the use of these software packages, but merely ensure their operation. Our services in operating third-party applications also include measures to reduce the risk of unauthorized access by third parties, as well as redundant data storage and backups to limit the likelihood of data loss.
